Whale Netsuke

A netsuke is a miniature sculpture originating in 17th century Japan. Start a collection or surprise a friend, add to your windowsill—there's no limit to what you can do with these adorable little creatures. Whales are associated with compassion and solitude, and knowledge of both life and death. They are also associated with unbridled creativity. And what could be cuter than a little whale blowing their spout? Cast in solid pewter. Designed and handcrafted in our Vermont workshop. The Whale netsuke measures approximately 1 1/4 inches long, 7/8 inches tall, and 5/8 inches wide.
