STORE PICKUP:
7A South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591
Orders can be picked up Wed-Sun, from 10:30 am-6 pm, and Mon-Tues 12 pm-6 pm. You will receive an email notification within 24 hours of placing your order when your order is ready for pickup.
LOCAL DELIVERY:
Enter your address at checkout, then choose Local Delivery under shipping options. This option is only available for select local zip codes and has a $10 order minimum. Orders received by 5 pm will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 5 pm will be dispatched the next day. Orders are delivered by Uber and will be delivered as soon as possible in the order they are received, typically within 2-4 hours after dispatch. Orders will be left outside the delivery address if no one is present. Please ensure the delivery location is secure. Thepurpleostrich.com is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the Uber driver. If an incorrect address is provided, re-delivery attempts may incur an additional charge. You will receive a tracking link via email to monitor your local delivery.
ORDER PROCESSING:
Allow 1 day to process your order for shipping. Expect an email within 1 business day to confirm when your order is on the way! Order processing and shipping may be impacted by federal holidays and unforeseen circumstances like extreme weather.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES:
Shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders over $150 ship free.
Thepurpleostrich.com ships via USPS and UPS.
Estimated delivery times vary based on the selected shipping method:
- Standard Shipping: 3-5 business days after processing
- Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days after processing
Responsibility for lost or damaged packages: Thepurpleostrich.com is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS). To address this, follow these steps:
- Track your package to confirm its delivery status.
- Check with neighbors or household members.
- Contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.
- Consider leveraging any credit card or homeowner/renter's insurance protections.
It is recommended that you consider shipping insurance for high-value orders to provide additional protection against loss or damage during transit.
Shipping Restrictions: Thepurpleostrich.com currently ships only to the contiguous 48 United States. Shipping is not available to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or international destinations.
